George Jenkins Transport was established in 1972 by George Jenkins and has grown into an establised company with an excellent reputation within the haulage industry.

All our vehicles and trailers are maintained in-house to the highest standard by our experienced technicians in our purpose built, fully equipped workshops ensuring our fleet of vehicles are kept on the move and uptime is kept to a maximum. Scheduled safety inspections are carried out in compliance with O Licence requirements by our IRTEC Licenced Inspection Technicians. All our vehicles are fitted with a fully integrated telematics system, this vehicle tracking ability and recording system allows live positioning and reporting on progress and safety. This system aids route planning and maximising fuel efficiency which in turn produces a cost effective and reliable service for our customers. Our vehicles are compliant with the latest London Emissions Zone regulations and Direct Vision Standard.

We pride ourselves in our investment in staff and equipment. We provide training to ensure that all our drivers maintain their Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualifications. We currently hold the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Bronze Accreditation, promoting best practice as commercial vehicle operators. This enhanced status demonstrates our commitment to operating to exemplary levels of best practice in safety, efficiency, and environmental protection and to exceeding the industry standard. In addition we are members of the Road Haulage Association and consequently operate by their terms and conditions.
